Permanent Full-Time

Power Engineer is a nationally recognized occupational title that includes Steam Engineers and Steam Plant Operators but does not include Electrical Engineering or equivalent occupations in this context. An alternate title for this position would be a Stationary Engineer.

An individual with an Interprovincial 1st or 2nd class license, would be responsible to supervise, direct and participate in the efficient operation of plant turbines, generators, boilers, emission control systems and associated auxiliaries to meet operating standards and generation requirements. The ability to perform physically demanding work is required.

This position falls within the scope of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 2067.
