POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Rabbit Lake operation is the longest operating uranium production facility in North America, and the second largest uranium mill in the world. As an instrumentation technologist, you will be part of the maintenance department and will be committed towards assisting Rabbit Lake operation reach reliability excellence.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing all measuring and control instruments. You will be responsible for programming Foxborro DCS and Modicon PLC systems. You will perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance checks on various equipment on site to ensure safe and efficient productivity at all times. In addition, you will calibrate and maintain various types of instruments such as, flow meters, pH transmitters, density gauges, and pressure, level and temperature transmitters.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Saskatchewan journeyperson industrial instrument mechanic certificate
Three to five years of relevant experience in an industrial or mining/milling environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player with strong computer and organizational skills
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP

The Rabbit Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
