National Cartage/MattJenn is a Saskatchewan based
organization that began in 1939 and has grown to a highly successful international company. From
local deliveries within the cities of Regina and
Saskatoon to longer hauls in Western Canada and
Midwestern US, we can provide almost any shipping
and transportation requirement.
If you are energetic, self-motivated and like the
feel of the road beneath you, we want to hear from you. Your experience, integrity, a Saskatchewan Class 1A license and clean drivers abstract are all you need.
We are currently looking for tractor/trailer
driver with a valid Canadian Class 1A license to
run Washington, Oregon, Utah and the Midwestern
U.S. One year highway experience and mountain
experience is required.

Responsibilities:
-Pick up and delivery of various goods within the
city and surrounding areas in a timely and
professional manner
-Assist with loading & unloading
-Fill out necessary documents
-Perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles
and equipment - oversee condition of vehicle and
inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and
other equipment, perform brake adjustments
-Plan travel schedules & routes
-Receive and relay information to central
dispatcher
-Transport hazardous products and/or dangerous
goods
-Adhere to company safety policies

Qualifications:
-Saskatchewan Class 1A license & clean drivers
abstract
-Customer service skills
-Good work attitude & willingness to learn
-Team player
-Strong command of the English language
-Ability to lift up to 23kg (50 lbs.)
-Understanding of the following:
    - Driver logbooks/bills of lading
    - Dangerous goods occurrence reports
    - Inspection reports
    - Maintenance & repair reports
    - Trip reports/accident reports
