Sales & Service Coordinator

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure a high level of support and customer service to customers
Organizing and maintaining all aspects of order processing for both local and national account customers
Ensure the successful co-ordination of day-to-day operations/warehouse activities
Actively participating in physical inventories and recording results.
Assist in warehouse (receiving, stocking, inventory control), if/when needed
Ensure effective and efficient support of, and administration for, the branch
Assisting in HR and Health & Safety initiatives and administration.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Critical
Strong customer service orientation
Maintains a positive and professional demeanour at all times
Exceptional telephone manner and verbal and written communication skills
Strong Initiative
Ability to learn and adapt to computer systems / applications (entering customer orders, inventory, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office  - Outlook, Word, Excel
Ability to trouble shoot, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
Calm under pressure, during problem-solving
Superior organization, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
Warehouse or related experience
Ability to safely do some heavy lifting (25 to 50 lb batteries) at times

Beneficial
Automotive or Industrial experience
Customer service training
Training in Health and Safety (WHIMIS, TDG, etc.)
Forklift training
Knowledge of common carriers and truck route scheduling
