Description

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the CEO and Board of Directors; and manage the day-to-day operations of the Executive and Administration Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-    Schedule Board of Director and Board Committee meetings, prepare communications, and record minutes.
-    Ensure Governance Policies, Corporate Bylaws and other department policies are current and accurate.
-    Organize Annual General Meeting; assist with Annual Report.
-    Ensure proper documents are filed with Province of Saskatchewan to maintain corporation.
-    Sign/countersign cheques, correspondence and any documents on behalf of the organization.
-    Compose and edit highly confidential documents.
-    Organize management meetings, internal Directors meetings and record minutes.
-    Maintain corporate filing system.
-    Manage CEOs schedule, appointments, and travel etc.
-    Manage corporate membership program.
-    Assist in delivering the necessary duties of the Exhibition.
-    Collaborate with Racing Department: travel arrangements for jockeys, business documents communicated to government, and any other duties pertaining to racing.
-    Assist with Strategic and Operational Plans for Prairieland Park.
-    Assist with yearly budgets.
-    Supervisor of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.
-    Other duties as assigned / not assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  
-    5+ years experience in Corporate Office as an Executive Assistant with a proven track record in holding information confidential.
-    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
-    Ability to build trust, effective communication, drives execution and foster innovation.
-    Maintain professional internal and external relationships.
-    Excellent verbal and written communication.
-    Team Leader.
-    Innovative, good judgment, decision maker, and collaborative.
