SUMMARY:
The Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician provides the organization with a knowledgeable, multi-skilled, troubleshooting expert who maintains and operates the wind power plant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician will be a team player performing operations, maintenance and technical support to achieve safe, cost effective operation and maintenance of the facility with minimum supervision.
Perform schedules maintenance and maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or control systems.
Operate the facility during start-up, shutdown, normal, and emergency conditions in accordance with operating procedures and instructions to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
Perform/direct housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean safe work environment and professional appearance.
Work within and ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental procedures.
Travel within Canada and USA will be expected

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
Proven experience in power generation, power services, or technology services
Ability to multi-task and communicate well in a busy work environment.
Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be detail oriented.
Minimum one year of directly related experience. SCADA knowledge is a plus.
Education or experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, or instrumentation and controls.
Possess certifications such as High Altitude/Ladder Rescue training, Confined Space, 1st Aid/CPR for immediate access to turbine.
