Description

The Prince Albert Daily Herald is currently seeking an Advertising Sales Manager.

If you have at least five years of prior sales management and experience with strong coaching skills and a track record of success, we would like to hear from you.

As Sales Manager, you will:
Develop and lead a team of sales professionals to attain required sales revenue and customer service, while monitoring quality and productivity levels to grow the business and meet corporate objectives
Lead by example to build solid client relationships, drive sales and promote best practices to deliver results
Ensure accurate and consistent service to clients to achieve maximum client satisfaction and develop new business relationships
Manage employee performance through ongoing coaching, mentoring and training
Assist in the development of annual strategic operating plans, establish sales targets, and prepare sales reports, as required
Develop new products and revenue initiatives in a competitive environment
Analyze and forecast current and future sales patterns and adjust sales offerings and approach according
Create and implement sales strategies to generate new business opportunities
Ensure appropriate cross-selling and up-selling

Qualifications:
Excellent written/verbal communication
Proven leadership in achieving sales, including developing new business from the prospecting stage
Proactive/positive attitude and ability to motivate others
Creativity to view a situation and identify potential opportunities for initiatives and growth
Working knowledge of online and social media advertising
Approachable, enthusiastic and open-minded to the views of staff and peers
Professionalism is a must, as well as being able to work with all levels of management
Strong organizational skills
Experience in sales forecasting
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid drivers license and auto insurance as travel will be required
