Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Financial Business Analyst assists the Director of Corporate Services in the development,
direction and maintenance of the financial and statistical information systems of the Region to ensure asset and expenditure control, proper
budgetary planning, and timely financial, statistical and management reporting in the Region operations under their responsibility.
Qualifications:
Accounting or Finance Certificate/Diploma
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to work independently
Ability to work well under pressure
Advanced accounting skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Excellent organizational abilities
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Extensive knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs
Knowledge of MIS Guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Organizational skills
