Responsibilities
Develops and manages relationships with key customer decision-makers including physicians, clinicians, senior account administrators, procurement, and materials management staff
Effectively sells in an Operation Room setting
Successfully gains approval of products to the New Product Evaluation committees or like committees
Ensures recruitment and development of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) for peer to peer selling
Coordinates and runs basic and advanced NPWT academies, train the trainer programs and various other educational events
Drives and manages the usage of consignment units
Manages customer requests and/or issues related to billing, VAC losses, and other related administrative responsibilities as required.
Books and manages surgical rounds and presentations either on their own or in collaboration with the Clinical Therapies, Marketing or other partners as assigned
Requirements
Bachelors Degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years related sales experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
Excellent presentation skills demonstrating both clinical and economic data to support NPWT products and other focused products
Demonstrates excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and coach others.
Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook and other related tools
Must be a demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision
Ability to engage in self appraisal and continuous learning.
Possess thorough knowledge of health care segments (acute, home care and long term care) to strategically deploy resources and investment spending is preferred
