Description

Loraas Disposal Services, Saskatchewan's largest Waste and Recycling company, is currently seeking full-time operators for Roll-off, Front-end, or Side-load waste and recycling collection equipment to serve Saskatoon and area. Duties;
-Operation of Roll-off, Front-end, or Side-load waste/recycling collection equipment as a pre-core operator, training on equipment is provided.
-Coordination with fellow operators and employees within other departments to ensure maximum efficiency in daily operations.
-Container, equipment, building and facilities maintenance, and other duties as assigned when not operating equipment.

Qualifications;
-Class 3A required (1A preferred).
-Minimum 3 years solid driving experience, short haul/city haul preferred.
-Strong knowledge of Saskatoon and area.
-Hydraulic equipment experience and/or farm background an asset.
-Able to work within a team environment and independently.
-Able to read and use maps/GPS.
-Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Experience with dispatch considered an asset.
-As a condition of employment, all new employees within safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test prior to their first day of employment. A criminal record check will also be required.
