Description

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc. - EGADZ requires a Full Time Custodial/Maintenance Person to be responsible for Custodial/Maintenance of EGADZ Youth Centre Facility as well as Residential Housing as required.

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc. / EGADZ is an inter-agency, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide services for hard to serve youth in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.

The Building Custodial/Maintenance Position is responsible for the daily Custodial/Maintenance needs of the facility as well as assist with our Residential Housing throughout the City as required.  This includes safety and other necessary inspections as required.

    Previous custodial/maintenance experience with Commercial/Residential buildings required.
    Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, staff, vendors and various trade contractors.
    Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in oral and written form
    Good Time Management
    Valid SK. Drivers License that reflects a safe driving record  Current Drivers Abstract Required (Within 3 Months)
    WHIMIS Certification
    Child Welfare Check Required
    Criminal Records Check Required (Within 6 Months)
    Knowledge of Aboriginal Culture is an asset
    Working knowledge of computers/windows is an asset
