Regional Housing Operations has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrator to work a minimum of one day/week. Flexibility is important as this opportunity could expand into extra hours in the future depending on business needs. Purpose:
To perform a variety of administrative functions that supports the work of Regional Housing Operations. This person maintains helpful and courteous relations with housing groups, members of all Region and Area staff, and others who provide support to the housing network. The Administration Officer requires knowledge of the organization and current operating policies and is usually the first point of contact with housing groups.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Certificate or diploma in office administration
Advanced expertise in word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet applications and on-line data systems complimented with accurate data entry skills.
Participate in development of education and training presentations as required.
Working knowledge of office systems and procedures.
Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, forecasting and analysis.
Understanding of the Saskatchewan laws regarding landlord and tenant relationships.
Positive personal presentation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills combined with demonstrated initiative, flexibility, efficiency, time management and good judgment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure and meet or beat deadlines.
