Schulte Ind. is looking for a Drafting Tech to join our Operations Team! This position will be responsible for:
- Complete manual updates/changes, update CSV and Parts Images, update EParts website
- Update SolidWorks/AutoCad drawings, TIFS, DXFs and JDE BOM/Route changes
- Updating serial numbers on parts and operations manuals in current operators manuals and EParts website
- Writing up change notices and filling out the required documentation to communicate changes to production floor
- Adding new products to the system; Part numbers, BOM'ss and Routes in JDE, drawings, DXF and TIFS, assigning part numbers and route times, creating new manual pages and adding them to EParts website and creating new manuals
- Assist production in current and future plant expansions; plant expansion drawings and assisting with creating the best layout for the company
The successful candidate will poses the following:
- Diploma from a recognized CAD program
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a drafting position in related industry
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, AutoCad, website maintenance, PDF editing)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicate with various departments
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team
- Knowledge in MRP systems, specifically JDEdwards
