The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association is seeking an individual to provide in home supports to a foster home in Dilke.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Bathrooms, mopping, sweeping, washing walls & baseboards, laundry and windows.
Qualifications, Education, Training and Experiences:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Experience with children
Must provide current, clean Criminal Record Check (inclusive of Vulnerable Sector check) and Child Abuse Registry Check
Good written and verbal communication skills
Valid Drivers license when required
Job Skills and Abilities:
Ability to take initiative, fast learner, able to work as a team, able to take direction, reliable, creative and have the ability to problem solve.
Oral, written and interpersonal skills
Well-developed planning, organizing, and decision making skills
Attention to detail when providing domestic services
Ability to deal tactfully with sensitive issues
Stress management

Children'S Ages
- Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years)
- School age (6 - 12 years)
- Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)
- Infant (3 months - 11 months)
Specific Skills
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Supervise and care for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
