GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reporting to the Department Manager, this position is responsible for supporting the controls, operations and monitoring of the process control machinery and equipment in processing pulp
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:
    Co-ordinate and monitor pulp process equipment to control process operations and machinery in the production of pulp
    Control the processing of pulp and monitor the chemical and physical process operations using a distributed control system and process computers
    Monitor and identify defects or impairments to ensure processes are running properly
    Inspect and examine instrument readings and production test samples and advise machine operators to make adjustments to production, process and equipment as required
    Complete and maintain reports as required
    Maintain a high degree of  housekeeping standards in assigned areas

 - Ensure pulp processes are operating within prescribed production limits
 - Control the processing of wood, scrap pulp and other cellulose materials
 - Co-ordinate and monitor the operation of pulp processing equipment
 - Analyze equipment readings and production test samples
