Clifton Associates Ltd. is currently seeking a Survey Assistant for engineering and construction surveys.
Reporting to the Geomatics department lead, and directly under a Surveyor, the candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting the surveyor with operating GPS and conventional survey equipment
Performing well defined survey tasks on their own
Maintaining the survey equipment and vehicles
Assisting with calculations, data management, and drawing production

Keen observation and reporting skills
Key Selection Criteria
Have a basic understanding of surveying, mapping, and construction processes
Excellent communication skills
Strong team player
Must work well in fast-paced environment and under pressure
Have experience with the use of ATVs, snowmobiles, and chainsaws
Willing to work overtime and in remote locations upon request
Must have valid Drivers License
Drug Testing Required
