NOW HIRING 30 FOREMEN/FOREWOMEN JOURNEYPERSON STEAMFITTER/PIPEFITTERS

Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to scheduling, coordinating and supervising workers who prepare, install, and repair piping systems that carry various materials such as water, steam, gas, oil, and other liquids (resources). Providing a safe working environment and adhering to safety procedures. Carrying out frequent safety checks and training employees to safely handle equipment and tools or arranging for training as required. Foreman/woman liaises with other departments to ensure work schedule is met and reports are provided, as well as assesses quantity of required material and requisitions. A foreman/forewoman is required to be involved in any day to day disciplinary decision-making processes, in addition to resolving work problems and seek ways to increase productivity. Recommending personnel actions, such as hiring and promotions is also involved.

Credentials/Work Experience: Steamfitting-Pipefitting trade certification with proven 3-5 years experience in supervision.

Requirements: CSTS 09 Safety ticket (PCL Energy will provide free of cost if required). Pre Access Drug and Alcohol test, provided by PCL Energy.

Language Requirements: English or French

Shift Rotation: 14 days on/ 7 days off, 10 hours per day, 44 hours OT per rotation. Day and Night shifts available, additional $3/hr premium paid to night shift employees.

BONUSES: $2/hr worked retention bonus, paid out twice a year (June& December), & $2/hr worked completion bonus. Live out allowance (LOA) of $145 per day worked & travel allowance paid for those who qualify as per collective agreement. We offer competitive wages, paid benefits, pension plan and RRSPs.
