Company Description
The CSS Pension Plan, located in Saskatoon, administers a defined contribution pension plan and provides pensions for more than 40,000 past and present employees of 365 Canadian Co-operatives and Credit Unions across Canada.

Summary
The CSS Pension Plan is seeking a highly motivated, conscientious individual to play a senior role as administrator of the Plans internal retirement income options.  The primary responsibility for this position is to deliver excellent service to members applying for and receiving retirement benefits, as well as to their surviving spouses and beneficiaries.

Responsibilities
You will have primary responsibility for assisting members through the retirement benefits application process, for performing benefit calculations, for entering required data into the Plans record keeping system and for administering the Plans retirement benefit payrolls.  You will also be the primary contact for the Plans retirees, assisting them with questions and data changes.

Requirements
Typically, the knowledge and skills required to succeed in this position will have been acquired through post secondary training combined with five to seven years experience as a pension/benefits administrator in progressively more senior positions.  Training and/or experience communicating with seniors would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have:
    The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
    Direct experience with pension/benefits administration.
    The ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward manner.
    Knowledge of pension/benefit calculations and payroll administration.

This position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.  The position reports to the Plans Senior Administrator.
