Come join the HazMat team at Quantum Murray LP.!

We are currently seeking ASBESTOS ABATEMENT and MOLD REMEDIATION workers

QMLP employees are paid on a weekly basis, and are eligible for Benefits and RRSPs

Preference given to candidates

with Asbestos or previous Mold Remediation Experience

  

Responsibilities:

         Removing of asbestos from ceilings, walls, beams, boilers, and other structures, following hazardous waste handling guidelines

         Assembling of  scaffolding and sealing off work areas, using plastic sheeting and duct tape

         Building of connecting walkways between mobile units or portable showers and work areas, using hand tools, lumber, nails, plastic sheeting, and duct tape

         Spraying of  chemical solutions over asbestos covered surfaces, using tanks with attached hoses and nozzles, to soften asbestos

         Shoveling of asbestos debris  into plastic disposal bags and sealing bags, using duct tape

  

Qualifications

         Grade 12 is an asset

         1 to 2 years of Asbestos/Mold Removal or construction  experience preferred

         Having a valid Drivers License and vehicle would be an asset

  

QMLP specializes in the safe and effective management of a wide range of contaminants found in commercial, residential, industrial and institutional buildings.  Projects range in scope from mould removal and decontamination in single family homes in remote, First Nations' communities, to such diverse projects as the expansion and renovation of international airports and the removal of asbestos and other toxic materials from large shopping malls, hospitals and schools.
