Duties and Responsibilities include:
In season crop production consulting services such as soil sampling, field scouting, diagnostics, product recommendations, and creating timely reports for our customers
Expanding and maintaining fertilizer and crop protection sales in a new market area
Providing ethically, environmentally and economically sound advice
Assisting in chemical warehouse and fertilizer facility as required
Crop data record keeping
Off season farm and business planning
Qualifications and Requirements:
Passionate about agriculture
Degree or diploma in agriculture preferred
Minimum 2 years industry experience
Knowledge of crop protection products
Experience in creating fertility plans
Organized, self directed and self motivated
Excellent time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Have a positive and upbeat attitude
Ability to relate to the growers in both practical application as well as new crop science technologies
Must be willing to learn new processes, agronomic practices, and other skills that may be required
