A caregiver provides companionship to an elderly client. You also have to run errands and prepare meals. The role of monitoring the client's diet and eating also rests on you. Some seniors need assistance with bathing and grooming. Additionally, you may have to assist your client with toileting.
Change beddings and replace linens routinely, clean laundry and may need to iron clothes. They may also be tasked with doing light housekeeping including vacuuming and dusting the house. The caregiver must accompany the client to doctor appointments and run errands. Physical and mental exercising, and administering medication
