Permanent Full Time Occupational Therapist Degree Senior In Occupational Therapy with Cornerstone Therapies located in Yorkton, SK
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist-Degree Senior  Community based reports directly to the Manager Outpatient/Community Therapies.  This position is a regional position based in Yorkton.  
The Occupational Therapist-Degree Senior is responsible for a clinical caseload and provides direct care to clients.  The Occupational Therapist-Degree Senior is accountable for working collaboratively with the Geriatric Resource and Intervention Team (GRIT) to plan, provide and integrate multidisciplinary assessment tasks into a framework of advanced geriatric practice.  The Senior Occupational Therapist is also accountable for assisting the Outpatients Community Therapy Manager in planning; organizing, directing and supervising the activities of their designated service area in outpatients/community to which they are assigned within the Sunrise Health Region to ensure that patients/clients referred receive a high standard of occupational therapy.  This will be done in accordance with the Sunrise Health Region mission statement and the Physical and Occupational Therapy Department Statement of purpose, policies and procedures of the facility and department.  The Senior Occupational Therapist has a reporting relationship to the manager of the facility they are working in and to other managers/directors overseeing the Geriatric Resource and Intervention Team.
Qualifications/Experience:
    Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
    Registered or eligible for registration with the SSOT
    Ability to travel both provincially and with the Region
          Ability to follow safe work practices and maintain confidentiality
         Must have two (2) years of clinical experience

Hours of Work:
    Presently Rotating 8 Hour Shifts
