Description

We are currently seeking a highly capable Professional Land Surveyor for our Saskatchewan office. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for planning, directing and conducting legal surveys for the determination, establishment and location of real property boundaries and natural or human made features. You will prepare and maintain drawings, official plans, records and documents pertaining to these surveys. In addition, you will also provide some non-legal survey work such as topographic surveys, hydrographic surveys, precise construction layout, as-built surveys and deformation surveys.

Using your considerable organizational, communication and people skills, you will lead and work with cross discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards.  Mentorship of new and junior employees is also a key part of this role.

Requirements:
    Minimum of a 2 year technical diploma in Geomatics with a Bachelors degree in Geomatics Engineering preferred
    Registered as a Professional Land Surveyor in the province of Saskatchewan (S.L.S.); Professional Land Surveyors from another province who are eligible under the Labour Mobility Agreement to become registered in Saskatchewan will also be considered
    Minimum 5 years of experience executing and managing legal and construction survey projects
    Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
    Technical competence and strong attention to detail
    Ability to work shifts and willingness to work in remote locations for a long period of time or fly in, fly out rotation
