URS is currently looking for an experienced Picker Operator to join our Virden, MB operation. This position will support our oilfield construction activities within Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This position is based on a Monday-Friday schedule and is located in Virden, MB. Camp or LOA are not available for this position.
Job Description
Safe Vehicle Operation:
- Tire chain inspection, maintenance & installation
- Professional vehicle operation in diverse environments (documented on driver evaluation form)
- Cargo securement
- Dispatch and maintenance of chain-of-command communication
Vehicle inspections as per URS pre-trip checklist Coupling/uncoupling procedure. .
Documentation completion & accuracy (logs, waybills, timesheets, TDG manifests, inspection documents) & Task Hazard Assessments
Job Requirements
Class 1A license with clean drivers abstract
Journeyman Boom Truck Operator Ticket
Previous experience operating a 30-Ton boom truck or greater preferred
H2S & First Aid
