Description

The Event, Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the Bea Fisher Foundation's fundraising events strategy which secures revenue for the organization.  The Event, Marketing and Communication Manager develops the fundraising event strategy and sets priorities, goals and budgets; researches and identifies potential donors.  Other tasks include maintaining donor databases, overseeing donor relationship coordination, working with the Board of Directors and overseeing event planning and campaigns as needed.

The Event, Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for the marketing of all services, image and mission statements.

This individual will serve as the subject matter expert in all marketing-related activities through various channels with the objective of driving and attaining sales and services.  The Event, Marketing and Communication Manager also launches and manages new products, services and associated brands to meet profitability goals through effective marketing programs.  The Event, Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans to seize market advantages on the basis of sound business relations to existing and prospective customers for the organization.

Skills & Abilities:
- must possess good organizational and planning skills, meet deadlines and follow-up in a timely manner
- must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and work cooperatively with others
- must be proficient in standard computer application (MS Suite)
- knowledge of Canadian non-profit organizations, charitable donation processes, government assistance agencies, etc., would be an asset

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in communication/marketing/public relations preferred.

Expereince Required:
Two years in fundraising/events planning for non-profit organizations.

Salary:
$60,000.00 / yr based on Experience, Education & Qualifications.
