Visually sort potatoes to Agriculture Canada standards or in some cases unique customer specifications. Identify qulity issues, ensuring continuity in potato specifications, informing management of quality issues, working with other employees to ensure qaulity guidlines are met and adhered to. Cleaning and disinfecting washline equipment, sizing equipment along with washrooms, lunch room and general sanitation of working ares. In the off season, will be asked to perform various field task which could include hoeing, weeding, makeing boxes and field packing various cole crops. During the harvest season, applicants can expect to work upwards of 60 hours per week. Weekend work is expected of all staff during harvest. The seasonal reality to farming in Saskatchewan requires such practices.
