Bus Mechanic - Permanent

The Chinook School Division is seeking an individual who would be interested in a full time permanent bus mechanic position in Shaunavon starting as soon as possible. The Bus Mechanic is responsible for the repair, maintenance, safe and efficient operation of the division's fleet of vehicles.
Start Date:  As Soon As Possible

Desired Qualifications:
- Journeyperson mechanics certificate;
- Experience in school bus or heavy equipment repair;
- Experience with gas and diesel engines;
- Hold and maintain a valid "Class 5" driver's license;
- Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, staff;
- Good mechanical ability with strong capabilities in the area of troubleshooting; and
- Good physical condition.
