We are excited to offer individuals seeking a career in the hospitality industry the opportunity to become a part of our award-winning property.A position with us will offer both challenges and rewards;opportunities for advancement and what we hope will be an exceptional employment experience.Were seeking an experienced,professional and driven individual to join us as a Lifeguard in our onsite waterpark.This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe,clean and fun waterpark.Some of the duties and responsibilities associated with the Lifeguard role include: -Facilitating day to day departmental duties including communicating with customers and answering inquiries-Supervising patrons within the waterpark-Monitoring the facility to enforce health and safety standards-Providing first aid and emergency assistance when necessary-Completing reports,logs and records-Interacting with guests and demonstrating excellence in customer service-Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and accompanying fitness centre-Addressing any complaints,concerns or challenges which arise-Maintaining stock and managing inventory for items such as towels,chemical,first aid supplies,etc.-Assisting with the training or development of fellow staff members within the departmentThis full-time position entails working 5 days a week in a variety of shifts and offers a wage of $14.00 per hour.Completion of a recognized National Lifeguard course along with a minimum 2 yearsexperience working in a comparable role is required.Preference will be given to individuals whom have successfully completed additional courses such as their Pool Operators Certification.Candidates must be confident,friendly and approachable in addition to being fluent in English both verbally and through written means to ensure effective communication with guests and fellow staff members.Interested applicants can submit their resumes to denise@travelodgeregina.com
