Description

Our client has an immediate opening for a Project
Manager for their Civil Engineering division at
their facility near Saskatoon SK.
Role
You will provide leadership and support for our
client'ss civil engineering team and be
responsible for the performance and success of our
civil engineering team, and firm, respectively. In
this role you will report to the Senior Project
Manager.
Duties
    You will work with the design team on the
project, develop and monitor civil design
strategies for building construction.
    Ability to develop relationships with
clients, industry affiliates, engineers, and
peers.
    Meet and report progress regarding
client'ss projects and resolve any issues as
required.
    Ability to coordinate and oversee entire
project life cycle and prepare the engineering
specifications and drawings, quantity and cost
estimates
    You will be responsible for ensuring the
civil drawings and specifications meet established
project criteria and applicable standards
    You will always maintain the highest of
standards related to our civil engineering
practice, ensuring best practices for project
management.
    Ability to prepare reports, proposals, and
tender submissions, budgets, project plans.
Qualifications
Possess a degree, diploma, or certification from a
recognized post-secondary institution, in the area
of civil design (Engineering, CAD Design,
Technologies, or Project Management).
5 to 10 year's experience in consulting civil
design engineering or equivalent experience and
responsibilities is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, along
with AutoCAD drafting experience are required.
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D would be
considered an asset.
