CORE FUNCTION
Responsible for the organization, co-ordination and direction of the Crop Production Services Southwest Saskatchewan Division Agronomy Program under his/her jurisdiction:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the limits of approved programs, policies and procedures, and working within the Division plan as set by the General Manager & Marketing Manager; the Manager of Agronomy has the following responsibilities:

To organize, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the Agronomy Department ensuring an acceptable level of contribution.
To work closely with Marketing & General Managers, CPS and supplier representatives to ensure that correct agronomic knowledge and product positioning is communicated to CPS staff and customers and to seek out and implement efficiencies for the entire division.
To organize, direct and co-ordinate CPS human assets efficiently
Ensure safety and environmental standards are followed & maintained at all times.
Communicate progress and results compared to goals in all areas.
To work with the Agronomy team to become leaders in Agronomy service and knowledge.
