Farm supervisor ineeded on Hartman farms Limited in Elrose SK.
Located 3 miles south of Elrose: 4 miles west and 3 miles south.
Located at SW 12-2-16 W3. Full time and Permanent position with
has experience on a grain farm and supervisory duties. We run a
large farming operation during the spring/summer months. In the
winter we focus on manufacturing farm equipment. Farming staff
are required to work in the manufacturing section over the winter
months so we build inventory for spring & summer. Duties will
include: Coordinate & supervise the work of general farm workers
and harvesting labourers. Supervise & oversee growing and other
crop-related operation. Develop work schedules and establish
procedures Maintain quality control and production records.
General farm duties such as plowing, planting and harvesting.
Operate farm equipment during peak season such as planting &
harvesting. Basic maintenance of farming equipment from time to
time. The supervisory duties mentioned above will be roughly 75 %
of the annual tasks. During winter supervisor will be required to
work at K Hart Industries on the farm See www.khartindustries.com.
The duties will include basic welding, fabrication & assembly of the
products we build. The welding, fabrication and assembly will be
about 25 % work load Requirements: General knowledge of
agriculture and equipment required to grow, harvest & store a crop.
Background in agricultural in order to understand to contribute to
the successes & profit of the business. Exp in supervisory on a farm
is crucial Must be bale to operate farming equipment. Good people
skills. Handy with good manual dexterity Nice-to-have Being able
to do basic welding will be a big benefit Benefits: No Benefits
Working Conditions: Hours of work: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per
week. In high season it might be much higher.
