Keethanow Supermarket has an immediate opening for an experienced Produce Supervisor.  We will consider applicants who have a minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume produce department with a sound knowledge of handling requirements of all areas of produce department and respect of produce as living breathing item.

Successful candidate will be responsible for ordering, ensuring freshness and premium quality is maintained, minimizing waste. Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages, maintain specified inventory, prepare reports on sales volumes for department, ensure that all pricing including promotional items are current and correct.

Assist in other areas of store as assigned by store manager.

This is a hands on position that requires lifting up to 60lbs.

Fluent in English and Cree preferred, able to work independently with minimum of supervision. Good reading and writing skills, good communication skills, ability to work with others and other departments in a team approach, good problem solving skills, sound decision making skills, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, computer use including till, continuous learning.
