Our client is currently seeking a Controller to
work on a Part-Time permanent basis in Yorkton,
Saskatchewan. This position is responsible to
provide key financial guidance and strategic
support to this decades old, successful local
organization. This position will provide
financial stewardship through monitoring,
evaluating and reporting financial performance,
identifying issues, opportunities and recommending
mitigating strategies to the owner.
Full cycle accounting job duties including;
-Financial Institutions including relationship
management, investment management , cash
-Vendors, invoice verification, foreign currency
purchasing
-Staff maintain records, advise and oversee
relevant activities, payroll, manage group
benefits plan
-Complies with federal, provincial, and local
legal requirements and advising management on
required actions
-Maintain proper general cash requirements, and
invest excess in corporate investments
-Assist management in cash flow decisions, capital
budgeting, statistical analysis, and financial
analysis.
-Prepare year-end file for external accountant as
requested. Including reconciliations, fixed asset
continuity schedules, investment continuity
schedules, payroll reconciliations, etc.
Qualifications Include;
-Bachelors degree from a recognized educational
institute in accounting, economics, finance, or
business administration
-CMA designation is preferred
