Description

Role and Responsibilities:
-Diagnose diseases, deformities and injuries of the human foot and treat patients using braces, casts, shields, orthotic devices, physical therapy and nail and minor surgery
-Provide a full scope of treatment services, ranging from conservative care, biomechanical and sports related issues, nail surgery, wound care and a variety of other outpatient procedures to both city and rural patients
-Must enjoy working with and assisting people, following a routine, and using instruments and equipment to perform tasks requiring precision
-Other related duties, as required

Number of Positions:  1
Terms of Employment:  Full-Time Permanent
Salary:  $60,000.00 - $80,0000 / year depending on skills and experience

Skills and Experience Required:  
- Completion of a three-year diploma program in Chiropody (D.Ch.) obtained in Canada OR completion of a first-degree program in Podiatric Medicine (D.Pod.M.) obtained abroad (United Kingdom) or equivalent
- Applicant must have local anaesthetic certification
- Applicants must either hold a valid Podiatrist license issued by the Province of Saskatchewan or be eligible for licensing by the Saskatchewan College of Podiatry
- Excellent verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills are a must
- A valid Saskatchewan driver's license (or the ability to obtain one) is required
- Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel regularly throughout Southwest Saskatchewan to satellite clinics is required
- Strong computer skills are required and preference will be given to those who have used an EMR and digital 3D scanning hardware and software
