SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) has an opening for a student who is looking for employment within the Trades & Industrial Department.  This position will be located in Prince Albert at the Construction Careers Centre.

TASKS AND DUTIES:
    Answering and directing incoming calls, receiving visitors, and relaying messages.
    Assisting clients with forms and inquiries.
    Set up interviews/appointments for project participants.
    Operation and maintenance of all office equipment.
    Maintain and update TAS database as needed.
    Statistic collecting, sorting and reporting as necessary for monthly reports.
    Posting current job advertisements for clients on front board and keeping up-to-date on short-term training programs being offered by SIIT for project participants.
    Create and modify forms and files as requested.
     Maintenance of computer files and directories.
    Other office duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    Must have completed one full year of post-secondary education to qualify and be returning to school in the fall of 2014.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access.
    Internet and E-Mail experience.
    Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions.
    Punctual and reliable.
