Description

Potzus Ltd. is currently seeking a foreman to lead
a base crew on road construction projects
throughout Saskatchewan.

Duties:
Plan and assess project needs of employees,
equipment and materials,
Communicate effectively with crew members, co-
workers, project managers and office staff,
Coordinate and document daily activities of your
crew,
Identify and deploy the proper equipment and
manpower required to be efficient in completing
projects,
Manage personnel and identify issues in under
performance and make decisions to rectify these
issues,
Practice leadership and set an example of company
policies and safety procedures to ensure the
safety of your crew and the public.

Have a thorough understanding of highway road
construction practices,
Knowledge of soils, granular base materials,
proctors, moisture control and compaction
requirements,
Ability to incorporate survey techniques regarding
layout and grades,
Have a complete understanding of civil drawings
and industry/contract design specifications.
