Description

Specific job duties include but are not limited to:
1. implementing UCC-SPCs Ukrainian Dance Outreach Plan;
2. organizing Ukrainian dance and professional development workshops and capacity building opportunities;
3. facilitating networking for the provinces dance community (dancers, instructors, volunteers, supporters);
4. preparing relevant information for the UCC-SPC publication and communication purposes; and
5. managing of UCC-SPCs online dance-related resources on the www.ucc.sk.ca web site.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Required for satisfactory job performance)

Knowledge
The candidate will have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
    the Ukrainian dance and/or cultural community of Saskatchewan
    cultural non-profit and volunteer sector

Skills
The candidate will demonstrate the following skills:
    excellent communication, interpersonal, networking and  team-building skills
    effective organizational, time management and reporting skills
    workshop facilitation
    grant writing experience
    analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
    computer skills including (Windows OS, MS Office, Publisher an asset)
    valid Saskatchewan class 5 drivers licence
    proficiency in the English language; Ukrainian language skills are an asset but not required
    CPR and First Aid Certificate are an asset but nor required
