Under the general direction of the Owner/Managers of R.H. Electric Ltd., the Office Administrator is accountable for providing administrative services and office coordination for R.H. Electric Ltd.
The position of Office Administrator is responsible for the efficient operation of the R.H. Electric Ltd. Office including the completion of clerical and administrative functions in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of Grade XII
Graduate of a recognized office education or accounting program or business course
(A suitable combination of training and experience may be considered.)
Experience:
One-year previous office experience
Previous experience in a trades or construction office setting is preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent computer/keyboarding skills
Ability to produce professional documents including letters, brochures and signs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work with others in a team environment and to conduct business in a professional manner
Excellent public relations skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clerical duties will include:
- Reception duties and telephone coverage
- Issuing receipts
- Filing
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Composing and editing correspondence
- Other related duties as assigned
Office Administrative duties will include:
- Coordination of apprenticeship requirement and reporting
- Payroll/Employee Benefits
- Accounting functions including payables/receivables/bank deposits/government remittances
- Tracking of job charges and information
- Other related duties as assigned
