Altern Properties is looking for a General Manager who will be responsible for all operational aspects of a growing property management division.  The General Manager will supervise personnel, manage properties in the Altern portfolio, and balance the needs of residents.  The ultimate objectives of this position are to maximize net profit, maintain properties to the highest standard, motivate team members to offer quality service, and to provide an enjoyable living experience for residents.

Altern Properties is a growing property management company based in Regina with over 500 units under current management and close to another 500 scheduled to open by the end of 2014 (the majority of our properties have been newly constructed in the last 3 years).  The General Manager will work with and supervise our current professional support team of 12 administrators, customer service representatives, and maintenance/cleaning personnel.

Applicants should be self-starting, organized individuals who are motivated to succeed in a fast paced and rewarding environment.  While we would prefer candidates to have experience in property management and a CPM or equivalent designation, we will also entertain applications from individuals who have held managerial positions in related fields.  Professionalism, critical and creative thinking, and strong interpersonal/communication skills are essential.
