Howard Johnson Inn is looking for a Full-Time & Permanent Facility Maintenance Manager.
The Facility Maintenance Manager has overall responsibility to ensure the comfort
and safety of our customers as well as all activities relating to the operation and
maintenance of the facility (building, building equipment, and grounds).
Duties -- Maintain and repair of a motel's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems / Perform daily walk thorough, record all meter readings and boiler temperature / Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs / Co-ordinate cleaning, snow removal and landscaping operations, Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services / Plan and manage a facility's maintenance budget / Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff / Scheduled and non-scheduled repairs, emergency repairs, construction, grounds upkeep and improvement projects and facility administrative functions are being performed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
Facility Maintenance Manager requires completion of a College Diploma
Minimal 5 years working experience
Wage : C$28-33 / hr depending on experience and 36-40 hours / week
