Description

The Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA) is the professional, self-regulatory body for the province's 11,000 registered nurses and nurse practitioners. The Association is seeking to fill a 1-year contract full-time position.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Practice Assistant, RNs Leading Change Project will provide administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate administrative operations of the project.  The Practice Assistant will comply with established policies, procedures and perform other related duties. Success in this position will require taking initiative and showing innovation in work processes, technology application and communication.

A 1-year certificate or diploma in administration or project management, as well as 7 or more years of relevant experience with higher levels of responsibility and accountability (or an equivalent combination of experience and education).
Proficiency in a variety of computer software, including email and electronic filing systems.
Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and written with clarity and conciseness.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to budget and effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Respectful of confidentiality and privacy consistent with the role of representing the SRNA, both at work and away.
Willing and able to adapt to the changing needs of a member-driven organization.
Committed to working as a team player and encouraging the efforts of other.
