Description

As Foreman, you will work with and lead a team
working on paving and road construction projects
in or near Regina.  

Enjoy this full-time year round position with a
reputable employerworking on projects in the
summer and then planning/working in the shop
during the winter. Projects that allow you to
be home with your family every night!  

As Working Paving Foreman, you will:

- Assess and create the paving plan, and assess
project needs regarding employees, equipment and
measurement/procurement of material.

- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of
the paving team including training, supervision,
safety, reporting/timecards and teamwork.  

- Lead and set an example on company policies and
safety procedures to maintain a high level of
safety.

- Liaison and communicate clearly with crew
members, project managers, general contractors and
office staff throughout project construction.    

- Maintain a detailed diary of daily operations
and activities.  Schedule/order density testing.

Education & Experience:
- Related on the job training, plus an
understanding of survey, plans and grades.
- Experience, knowledge and ability in asphalt
paving (i.e. grade work, equipment operation,
density testing, etc.)  
- Must have paving, compaction, and raking
experience.
