Description

Lac La Ronge Incian Band Public Works & Housing Department is now inviting applicants for the following position:  WATER & SEWER OPERATOR TRAINEE

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
>Train on the job in all areas of water & sewer operation
>Complete and maintain plant logs and reports
>Perform routine water sampling protocols
>Provide appropriate paperwork, reports, documentation, when required
>Adhere to all safety and health regulations
>Maintain positive public relations on behalf of the department
>Perform other work related duties as requested by supervisor

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
>Must have a minimum Grade 12 diploma, Adult 12 or GED 12
>Must have a valid Class 5 driver?s license
>WHMIS, First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
>Must be self-directed, motivated and willing to learn new skills
>Must be willing to take direction from a supervisor
>Must be willing to work independently on various job sites
