Description

The YMCA Child Development Centre is seeking a professional, energetic, responsible, and committed person to join our team due to expansion of operations.  We are looking for one full time Early Childhood Educator as well as one full time temporary position (with a great possibility of becoming permantent) at our Downtown location.  This location provides care for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
  
Some duties include (but are not limited to):
-    Planning developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in a play-based environment  
-    Participating in physical activities
-    Encouraging child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys
-    Teaching children the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusiveness towards all living things
-    Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing

Requirements:
-    ECE Equivalency of Level 2, or 3, or other relevant education-Level 1 may be considered should the applicant pursue Level 2 training and education
-    Related experience is an asset
-    Current First Aid and CPR
-    Current clear Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector
-    Current clear TB test
