The position is accountable for leading the analysis, development, implementation and ongoing administration of North American compensation, benefit and pension strategies and programs. This role works in close collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partners and HR Services teams and external brokers and vendors.
Qualifications:
Post secondary degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible Human Resources related experience in the field of total rewards.
Excellent decision making and judgment skills.
Proven ability to manage and supervise effectively within a team environment.
Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior level staff, both internal and external to the company.

Proven negotiation and persuasion skills and abilities.
HR Management Systems knowledge, including reporting skills.
Advanced knowledge of all MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Human Resources/Compensation certification/designation preferred.
