Prairie Pulse Inc., an exporter operating a processing/milling facility in Vanscoy (15 minutes West of Saskatoon on Hwy 7), has opened its new grain splitting facility and is accepting applications for the position of Warehouseman/Shipper.
Successful candidates will be responsible for loading bagged and/or bulk orders in accordance with specified shipment instructions, maintaining an organized clean warehouse, and other duties as assigned.
Candidates must be capable of, operating or learning to operate, a semi-automated bagging line, a robotic palletizer, forklift, Hyster Reachstacker, inline scales, printers, and/or various types of computer equipment. Candidates must be physically fit, demonstrate a positive work ethic, possess scheduling and time management skills and work effectively with others. Experience leading a production crew and operating a forklift would be a definite asset.
The full-time scheduled shift is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, however extended hours and/or shift work may be required from time to time. Remuneration ranges from $18.00 to $28/hr plus shift premiums depending on abilities, attitude and overall work ethic.
