The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Scheduler who is responsible for the development of a detailed schedule to support the daily activities of the Maintenance Department. The scheduler is responsible for the effective utilization of maintenance resources and the optimization of planned and scheduled work. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop a detailed daily, weekly and monthly schedule for the Maintenance Department that optimizes the balance between preventative maintenance activities and planned corrective maintenance. Collaboration with the Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Coordinators and Maintenance Supervisors is essential to the development of an effective, resource loaded schedule
- Obtain feedback from the Maintenance Coordinators on work progress to ensure the schedule is adjusted accordingly
- Monitor metrics established to identify the efficient utilization of maintenance resources
- Provide input related to utilization of maintenance resources to the yearly repairs and maintenance budget

Qualifications include the completion of Grade 12. A Technical Diploma or Trade Certificate would be considered an asset. Other qualifications include:
- Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Competencies required for the position include planning, creativity, problem solving, and understanding others
