Position: Assistant Controller

About Us: Established in 1991, Saskarc Industries
is an industry-leading custom metal fabricator,
project management and equipment sales and rental
company. We fabricate heavy plate projects as well
as structural steel fabrications. Our equipment
team offers decades of combined experience in the
sales and rental of light towers, heaters,
generators, pumps and more. We serve the oil and
gas, power generation, mining, construction,
government and petrochemical industries in
Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of
Finance, the Assistant Controller's
responsibilities include the coordination,
preparation and execution of reliable and timely
financial reports. They will ensure that the
accounting system provides accurate timely
financial data. They will coordinate, prepare and
execute timely and reliable financial reporting to
the various stakeholders.

Qualifications: This position requires the
applicant to have a minimum of 5 years' experience
in accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with job costing and tracking work in
progress is mandatory. Preference is given to
candidates with professional credentials in the
field of accounting.
