We are looking for a sub contractor to install
tile. Jobs would include, floor tile, lvt,
backsplash, custom showers (including water
proofing), and miscellaneous jobs.
Materials Worked With
- Slate
- Mosaic
- Ceramic
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Driver's License
Additional Skills
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Estimate labour and material costs
Specific Skills
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Reinforce surfaces or build required underbases
- Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Pack grout into joints and between tiles
- Mix, apply and spread adhesive substances
- Determine best layout of tiles
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles
- Align and straighten tiles
