Position: Operations Manager, Construction
Maintenance

Location: Regina, SK
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Vice
President of Major Projects

Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

* The Construction Maintenance Operations Manager
is responsible for planning, management and
profitability of the Construction Maintenance
Operations Unit for Major Projects.
Accountabilities include winning and executing
maintenance contracts, staffing for maintenance
work, and other managerial functions, dispute
resolution and success.
* Implement work force planning practices through
maintenance contract execution and closeouts.
* Plans, organizes and directs all department
activities at the Operations level,responsible for
achievement of objectives at the profit centerl
evel. Assist with projects, contracts, and other
duties as assigned
* Provides technical and maintenance contractual
expertise and support for specific operations.The
Construction Maintenance Operations Manageris the
liaison between the MJP maintenance contracts and
the Vice President.
* Ultimately responsible for managing Construction
Maintenance people and resources, and the
profit/loss performance of contracts within the
Construction Maintenance Operations.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:

* Ability to lead an organization  attract, hire,
develop and maintain a team of Maintenance
Construction Managers and Superintendents
* Excellent verbal and written communication and
interpersonal skills
* Thorough knowledge of corporate procedures and
policies is a requisite
* Ten or more years in a construction setting  
estimating, supervision, and engineering
experience is typically required
